Local shops

to the Coleridge Way Cottages

Helen and Brian run the local shop down in Roadwater, 2 miles away.They stock the basic essentials in addition to being an off-license, post office, delicatessen and purveyor of fine Green & Blacks chocolate.

They are open 7am. to 7pm. Monday to Saturday. 9am to 4pm on Sundays. Tel: 01984 640 296

Sainsburys, Tesco & Waitrose will do online order deliveries. (Ask for delivery to Windwhistle Farm).

Nearest town in Williton with a Spar open early to late, seven days a week, Co-Op. Bengal Lancer Indian takeaway, Glidens excellent hardware store, pet shop, fruit and veg shop, butchers (in back of Spar), newsagents and sweet shop and a few other shops.

Watchet also has a range of shops and more gift shops.

Minehead is the nearest town with a full range of shops, banks, cafes and restaurants. Tesco & Morrisons have a large store here just out of town. The town is blighted by Butlins - so do not be put off. As you get off the front the town gets better.

There are no shops in Treborough or Luxborough.

Taunton is closet city, about 30 minutes away.

Tiverton, a large mid-devon town is about 40 minutes away.

Exeter and Bristol are about 80 minutes away.
