Coleridge Cottage

This cottage sleeps two in a double bed. Fitted with underfloor heating, double glazing and high levels of insulation, it is snug and warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Everything is supplied from bedding, to towels to kitchen utensils so that all you have to bring is your food.

You can book both cottages to sleep 4 people, since there is a secure and fireproof interconnecting door to the Wordsworth cottage. However, the two cottages are completly self contained and being so well insulated with cavity walls between you and Wordsworth cottage you will not be intruded by the other guest in any way. The two cottages do not share any facilities except for the garden, but you still have your own shielded patio area and own outside seating and table. How to book?

Ideally suited for two people. The table has leaves and can extend to seat six.

Keep snug and warm by the super efficient and very stylish, Award winning Danish made Hwam wood burner.

Lovely leather sofa and arm chair with co-ordinated curtains, cushions and rugs.

The cottage is named after the Samuel Coleridge who moved to Nether Stowey in 1797 and who's daily walks were the inspiration for the Coleridge walking and bridle ways.

The bathroom has underfloor heating, as with the whole cottage, and a clean white bath, sink and toilet.

The cushions are detailed and supplied by Harriet Hendy Interior designs.

Gas hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and a Belfast sink all fitted into handmade wooden kitchen units. Fully fitted with crockery, pots, pans and utensils so all you have to bring is your food.
