Building the Cottages
and the team of craftsmen who made it.
Work started on 2nd January 2008 and it was finally
completed on 30th August 2008 with a lot of help from the great
team we were fortunate to find. Details on each of the team can
be found below the pictures of the build.
 
The original dairy unit before
we started.
It was converted into this dairy unit from a pig shed around 1976.

We had a great team of people involved
in the construction.
I would recommend all of them, they were:
Jim Huish,
Bricklayer and Stonemason, Minehead, t:01643 708 478. Jim
was the first on site when we started on 2nd January 2008. He was
an inspiration to work with and set a pace and quality that all
the others crafts had to match. His skills gave us the confidence
that this build was going to be of the high quality we sort and
on time and close to budget. Jim was very reliable, always turned
up when he said he would, in weather that others would winge about.

Richard Nicholas, Roofing, plastering &
all-round excellent general builder. I would highly recommend
Richard as he is very polite, always on time, tidy and above all

People often deride plumbers but these two are out of a different
mould. They do a good quality job, are always polite and very reliable.

your tiling done to the highest standard then Bob is your man. A
professional tiler who moved to Luxborough for an easier life. Very

Harriet was a joy to work with. Through the ideas and design stage
all the way to the delivery and installation of the furniture and
