Christmas & New Year at the Coleridge Way Cottages

Staying in Exmoor over the festive season is rather special. Coleridge Way Cottages are over 1,000 feet above sea level which means that we nearly always get snow.

"A lovely way to spend Christmas in superb accommodation. Many thanks" said Mrs J from Hampshire who stayed in December 2008

Book early
for Christmas or New year as these dates always get snapped up fast.

Lie in bed, warm and cosy, looking out on stunning views.
Get romantic in front of the wood burning fire.
Leather sofas and luxury facilities.

"A lovely stay in a well equiped and snug cottage.
Lovely to return to after walks. Many thanks."
Mr S & Ms C, Oxfordshire who stayed over New Year 2008/9

There is loads to do in Exmoor at this festive time of year. Go to midnight mass at Treborough village church. Attend the Dunster by Candlelight festival when this remarkably preserved medieval village turns its back on the present and lights its streets with candles.

In December, the first tasting of the seasons locally produced Sloe Gin takes place and at Windwhistle Farm where we hold the annual Sloe Gin Championships there is a blind tasting of locally produced Sloe Gin to find the people's favourite.

Alternatively have some peace and tranquility in the beautiful surrounds of the stunning Exmoor National Park. Snuggly up in front of the wood burning stove. Make your own festive dinners on our fully equiped and fitted kitchen.

A deep frost transformed the trees in Exmoor National Park

Some days we get snow, since we are over 1,000 feet up.
